I never really thought that ancient coins can be so valuable nowadays. We used to disregard these old coins that has been tagged us invalid tender for goods. Learning from that fact that those old coins are now so valuable, I have started to collect them at least one or two of each kind.
When I was a kid my grandfather used to pour these old silver coins to holes where they erect posts or foundations of houses they built. Accordingly, that’s to bring good luck to the house; a superstation that the household will not run out of money.
If only I knew that those very old shimmering silver coins could be so valuable at the present times I could have keep some of them for me. A little to late though but if given the chance to go back to my ancestral house and allowed to dig, probably I could still find few.
These rare coins I believe are real silver and gold. That is why they are so costly now. There are however new silver coin yet still a little costly because they are made special. Probably first batches of coins made at a certain year or period of time. Or that they could have been made with minor defects. I’m not sure. But there must be something so special in them. I’ve seen them sold over the internet and they look real good. Several of them are uncirculated. What makes them special is what collectors wanted to find out.
