For me a ring is a pride, not to be taken negatively. It is a symbol to tell that you are proud of a very important event that has come into your life (friendship, graduation, degree, marriage). Gone are my very fashionable teenage years but if only given the chance to turn back the time I would gladly make a souvenir for every turning point of those years.
When I was in high school I receive a friendship ring from my best friend. It was a unique ring because that ring can actually be separated into 3 rings. I dreamed of having a high school ring as well after graduation. However the student council did not grant our request to have a customized class ring.
My sister-in-law is the dean of the school and she contacted me just recently and requested me to check with local jewelers and canvass for class ring price. I have check on the local jewelers but it seems to me that their prices are still high. I took her to a website where I have seen the best high school class rings ever and she was so impressed with them because they are truly customized and the price is just right for their budget. She thought of showing them to the students so they could decide which kind to pick so that they can order them at once. My personal choice is the one in the picture.
